Hilliard Towers Receives Award
Holsten Real Estate Development Corporation has been honored as one of the five recipients of the Chicago Architecture Foundation’s 2008 Patron of the Year Award. Given to leaders dedicated to commissioning, financing, and executing significant architecture in the Chicago area, we were presented with this award for our rehab of the Hilliard Towers Apartments. These distinctive, honey-combed towers were designed by Bertram Goldberg (also the architect of the Chicago landmark Marina City) and are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
