Bertrand Goldberg, the renowned architect who designed Chicago’s Marina City and River City, originally designed the Raymond Hilliard Homes. The renovation and repositioning of this historic public housing project involved transforming two family buildings, containing 151 units each, and two senior buildings, each containing 176 units to be re-occupied by existing and new residents in a mixed-income setting.

The attractive, 12-acre site promotes intergenerational activities for families and seniors alike. Long-term rental residents have access to special, on-site community support services.
